This case study looks at the impacts that the Wood Manufacturing Council’s WoodLINKS program has on developing the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed by entry-level employees in order to succeed within Canada’s advanced wood manufacturing industry. It looks at how WoodLINKS supports the industry in developing qualified and certified entry-level workers, and explores how WoodLINKS is developing learners’ awareness and interest in advanced wood manufacturing careers.
